Extraordinary story: Passengers disembark to push airplane on runway

A Siberian airline, Katekavia with 74 passengers onboard disembarked on a snow covered runway in temperatures of -52 degrees Centigrade to push their plane onto the taxiway after the break system of its chassis froze. Prior to that a tow truck was brought in to move the plane onto the taxiway to carry out the flight but was unable to do so.
The plane had stood on the runway for 24 hours in the freezing cold and the pilot forgot to take off the plane’s parking brake which led to the brake pads freezing up.

The passengers finally succeeded in pushing the plane until it was able to turn and then the tow truck took over, after which the flight took off and went smoothly
