This couldn't have come at a better time as we get ready for the festive season.
Imagine spending the summer holidays with power cuts. No movies to watch, what about cold drinks and cool music to play.
Now says
Power cuts on Friday were unlikely as the national power grid was doing well.
Eskom spokesperson
Andrew Etzinger said “There is a low probability of load shedding today.
The grid is in good shape and unless something happens, the power will be
fine,"
Etzinger
said things were starting to look up for the power utility and the risk of load
shedding was low for the whole of December, and South Africans preparing for
the summer holiday with lazy days of parties and fine food should expect any
disturbances caused by power cuts.
