Convicted Pedophile wins $2.2 million Florida Lottery




Timothy Poole who is listed on a Florida department of Law Enforcement website as a convicted sexual predator has won $3million from a Florida Lottery scratch off ticket.

He bought the winning ticket late weekend at a 7-Eleven convenience store in Mount Dora, near Orlando. Poole opted to take the prize “in a one-time, lump-sum payment of $2,219,807.90

Poole was convicted in 2002 of attempted sexual battery of a victim under 12 years of age and was sentenced to 13 months time served and a 10 year probation but in 2003 another judge revoked his probation and sent him back to prison for three years after he was kicked out of his mandatory sex offender counselling for missing four group sessions.


Poole says he’d been wrongly accused.
