Senzo Meyiwa’s BMW X6 was repossessed from his home at
Umlazi, KZN yesterday by Aucor Property in Durban after his family failed to
settle the arrears.
The 4x4 became the center of contention between the soccer player's failmy and Khumalo after his death.
Speculation that Kelly would get the car ended when Senzo’s
estate was shared by his family last month and it was revealed that neither
Kelly, nor the child she had with Senzo, would receive a cent.
Daily Sun has established that
the car was financed for more than R1 million by BMW Motor Finance and was not
insured.
Aucor confirmed that the vehicle was booked in at the Durban
branch yesterday. “We cannot say when it will be auctioned because we have to
wait for clearance from the bank,” said an Aucor employee.
