More rolling blackouts by Eskom.

There is a possibility of a third consecutive weekend of rolling blackout as Eskom has been battling with increased demand due to shortage of water and diesel reserves for the gas turbine and water pump.

The collapse of a coal silo at its Majuba Power Station in Mpumalanga led to rolling backouts across the country.

 Last weekend’s blackouts were due to general upkeep measures at the Cahora-Bassa hydroelectric power station in Mozambique
