Mel B says her husband would never lay his hands on her

Rumors have been making the round that Mel B’s marriage is on the brink of collapse after she appeared on the finale of the U.K. version of “The X Factor” with what appeared to be bruises. Speculation went into overdrive that she and her husband were on the skids. 

Now, Mel B, 39, spoke out to debunk the rumors on Instagram by posting a loved-up photograph of her and husband Stephen Belafonte alongside the caption: 'This is for my fans havin problems with my Twitter will be back soon! 

'I'm very good was very polly [sic] but much better now and for the record my hubby never would lay a hand on me sorry took so long but any response fuels rumors #lovemyfamily #lovemyfans.' 

She also shared a Christmas day photograph with family.
