Casillas makes history lifting his 8th trophy as Captain

Skipper Iker Casillas, 33, made history by lifting his eighth trophy as captain when Real Madrid beat San Lorenzo 2-0 on Saturday to become Club World Cup champions.

Saturday’s game was his 700th for Real Madrid. He is the first Captain to win eight major trophies – the World Cup (2010), Champions League(2013-2014), European Championship(2008&2012), European Super Cup(2014), Spanish Super Cup(2012), Copa del Rey (2010-2011,2013-2014), La Liga (2011-2012) and Club World Cup(2014).
