Singer Kelly Khumalo returns to public life just one month after the murder of Senzo right in front of her.

Singer Kelly Khumalo has returned to public life just a month after her boyfriend, Bafana Bafana captain Senzo Meyiwa was killed in front of her on October 26th. Since the murder, Khumalo has been quiet, giving no interviews as controversy about her relationship with married Senzo is still in the air. Khumalo has a daughter for Senzo and also a son for jailed hip hop artiste ‘Jub Jub’ Molemo Maarohanye.

Khumalo has defended her return to public life by saying” I am a working woman. I have a responsibility to my children and to my fans-people have been following Kelly since August 22, 2005. Those people are waiting for me to be out there and singing. That’s what I am about.

In a private press conference with Sowetan Khumalo said ” I was Kelly Khumalo before Snzo. I was a musician before that”
