Lower Petrol Prices in South Africa from Wednesday.

This good news could not have come at a better time particularly amid increased travel over the holiday.
Come next week Wednesday 03 December, the retail price of all grades of petrol, the wholesale price of both grades of diesel and illuminating paraffin and the maximum retail prices of LP gas will be decreased.
The price of 95-grade petrol will drop by 69 cents a litre while the price of diesel (0.05 sulphur) would decrease by 53.50 cents a litre, illuminating paraffin by 49c and LP gas by 21c.
By implication, this means that Petrol will cost R 12,47 a litre at Guateng and R 12.06 at the coast while diesel will now cost R 11.31
Investment Solutions economist Chris Hart says “As long as the rand does not weaken, the drop in the international crude oil prices will continue to feed through and benefit us at the pumps.
